Your Selfe agrees the terms, takes the money and puts the order where you would have put it. Selfe lets the sale complete inside the agent's own conversation, not just point it back to your site. ## You get to decide what an agent may agree to. A sale completing with nobody in it sounds like a loss of control and it is very nearly the opposite. Somebody on your website accepts whatever the page says and you find out afterwards. An agent has to be handed permission first, in writing, with a number on it. So the customer sets what their AI assistant may spend and on what, and you set what your Selfe will accept and on which terms. Both halves are explicit before anything happens, and the sale only exists where the two overlap. That is a tighter arrangement than most of the business you take. What it needs in order to work at all is that each side can prove itself to the other in the moment, and proving things quickly is what the standards are for. ## What has to be true before it completes. An agent buys at four in the morning, on a Sunday, in a language nobody on your side speaks, inside the rules you set, and the money is in and the order is on the system by the time anybody looks. None of which asks anything more of your hours. The rules get set once, your Selfe holds to them, and the things it is not certain about wait for you instead of going ahead. And what turns up is a real sale with a real person behind it. Your playbook controls what may be answered, quoted, held, booked or paid without asking you. The systems behind Selfe are not handed over to an outside agent, and a request beyond the permitted action is refused or escalated. **What does Selfe do when it is not sure?** It stops and asks, showing the conflict, sources and decision required. The mandate, agreed terms and confirmation travel with the transaction, while your existing provider continues to handle the regulated movement of money. **What stops something hammering our systems?** Requests reach Selfe through Cloudflare and are checked before anything is allowed near a booking or commerce system. Rate limits, identity checks and action permissions separate ordinary discovery from something attempting to transact.
